Melanie Lopez is a twenty-something career woman with a passion for business, interactive marketing, user experience, and traveling. She spends her time in the corporate world working in the marketing department of a global investment firm.
My Gen Y Life gives advice and commentary for fellow young professionals and interested Gen Y parties. It’s about what’s important to us and how to deal with work and life happenings to help us embrace our unique characteristics and influence the world for the better. The terms Gen Y, Gen Yers, and Millenials are used interchangeably. This is referring to the generation born roughly between the years 1981-1995.
Melanie hails from Vancouver, Washington and is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound. Although more obscure, she did spend the early years of her life in a small town in Wyoming and if you get to know her well enough you might hear a slight twang come out in her speech. She is married to another Millennial who is affectionately known as a “geek” for a large electronics retailer.
